Can i record a drum machine (sounds split already) on one track to stereo sound?
by alan fitzgerald on Jul 2, 2009 at 9:55:01 am

Hi guys,

Just using garageband and was hoping someone could help me out.

I have a roland drum machine and recording on one track in stereo at the moment doesn't separate the individual hits left or right at all as they would sound in my headphones.

So to get a stereo sound with individual hits panning left and right it seems like i would have to record a few tracks focusing on say symbols on one track panned left and hi hats panned right on another track (just an example)

It would be convenient to record in stereo on one track having the drum sounds separated on one track....

Is this possible? Any help appreciated! Thanks - Alan
