Where the heck are are the build in Apple loops ?

hi there,
hope everyone is well!
I'm playing around in GarageBand, which came with the computer.
I watched the Apple events online seminar, and it was pretty impressing to me, so I thought give it a try.
During the demonstration it mentions the build in Apple loops, to get you started.
I can NOT find those loops on my computer ( I know where they are supposed to reside on the computer)-they are not there.
I also turned off the "Filter for more relevant results....guess what...still no...loops.
Since GarageBand came preinstalled on my computer, I thought reloading from the installation disk will reinstall those loops. So I did the "custom" install and only installed GarageBand, Apple Demos, and "Apple Loops". It showed that it wil install approx. 6.5 GB of files.
Take a wild guess.......Yep......still no f...ing Loops. I'm at the end of my latinum.
What am I missing?
Any hints are greately appreciated.
Regards.
Adi
P.S: Goooooooooooooo New Orleans!!!!!!!!!
