Yeah, I've heard that SoundtrackPro is becoming a useful little app (I haven't bought the FCP 5 Studio Upgrade yet).

(And just as a further anecdote about GB's ease of use, and this literally is the truth...when I bought the M-Audio Keystation 49e USB/MIDI keyboard, the "setup" was as follows:

1) Took keyboard out of the box
2) Plugged keyboard into Powerbook via USB cable
3) Turned Powerbook on (Keystation bus-powered)
4) Fired up GB
5) Laid down some MIDI tracks

I don't even remember having to install drivers or anything! It literally did work right out of the box!)
