Delayed Write Error

Delayed Write Error

My Q drive has started to send me 'delayed write error' messages.

Checked solutions to hardware and operating systems on several forums, with no luck.

The drive does seems to periodically dismount although I have no message telling me that is the case. After reading a few of the posts here recently, am I too experiencing a 'drive that dismounts problem'? It happens during a Pro Tools session at quite regular intervals (1 hour or so)

Had the drive running under USB and Firewire, out in the open on it's own so not to overheat etc. Also have similar drives on the same system running without problems.
