Thank you for the response.

I got the drive yesterday from Amazon.Com and now I will ship it back.

G-Tech told me to restart the machine. I did and after 10mb the thing slowed to a crawl.

I tried on 3 different Macs. Same thing.

Not a good sign. I guess I'll try LaCie next. Any other suggestions?
