My name is Cameron. I'm a missionary in South Africa.
I bought a G-Drive 1 TB this April in Chicago. It came highly recommended at the Apple store.

About a week ago it began having mount issues.
I have all of my family photos on this drive. I also have some other media.

I'm trying to get it to remount so that I can do drive maintenance, but I'm having no luck.

One thing I have noticed. MY disk utility sometimes recognizes the drive, but the system will not allow me to access it. Any ideas?
