Re: G Drive Q not mounting
by Daniel Hidalgo on Jul 2, 2009 at 5:02:43 am

JUST had the exact same thing happen to me, same Macbook Pro and 1TB G DRIVE Q set up, mounted fine at first, tranfered 250GB onto it took 3.5 hours, then closed all apps and it would not unmount. After 1 hour, I turned off the G DRIVE Q, and now it will not re-mount.

Tried the DiskWarrior, version 4, failed to even recognize anything other than my internal HD on my Macbook Pro.

Here is the weird thing, Disk Utility recognized a "G-TECH" drive, but will not allow me to do anything to it, and refuses to eject the "G-TECH" icon, and yet my desktop had NO icon on it for the G DRIVE Q when plugged in, and I tried all ports, nothing.

Now what? Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
