Seagate FreeAgent Go

Hello Everyone!
This question is actually not about a GTECH product, it is about a Seagate FreeAgent Go. I just couldn't find the right forum.
I would like to turn a Seagate FreeAgent Go 500GB USB drive into a firewire 400 or 800 drive. I know that in order to do this, I have to get a hard drive case with said ports, but what I am wondering is how I get the "platter" (I think that is what its called?) out of the Seagate. There don't seem to be any screws...and to tell you the truth, this whole thing kind of confuses me...
Any help, and maybe a little explanation, is greatly appreciated!
Samantha Bode
