Question about G-drive and G-raid mini's

Does anyone have test results for the G-raid mini2 with 7200rpm drives using FW800?

I want to buy a G-raid mini but it seems one 7200rpm drive in the G-drive mini already maxes out the FW800 bus. Other then using the G-raid mini2 in RAID-1, I do not see any benefits.
