G-Raid mini2 640GB - issues using with wiebetech express card & MacBookPro
by Will Whalien on Jun 12, 2009 at 2:18:40 am

Having intermitent issues with my eSata PCI card and my G-RAID mini. Just got the drive specifically because of the size and speed it offers. I can't seem to read and write to/from the drive at anything faster than a snails pace. Initially the setup didn't work, so I reinstalled the Silicon Image driver from the Weibetech site. Worked for a day, and now the slow speeds are happening again.

Is anyone having this issue? Any one having any success using a MacBookPro, an PCI eSata card, and the G-Raid mini2 (not SSD)

Many many thanks in advance.

Will
