G-Raid Drive: Trouble Installing on Windows XP
by Lisa Hurley on Jun 10, 2009 at 2:59:27 pm

Hello All! I have had this G-Raid drive for 2 years...always has showed up fine on my system. However, I recently reformatted, and re-installed windows xp pro with sp2.

When I connected the G-Raid to the firewire port, the system recognized the equipment but will not install because it cannot find the software. I am totally weirded out about this, because it never has asked for software before. I found the disk that came with the drive; it says "Installation CD".. so I loaded that.. and there's only manuals on it.. no software.. So I went to the G-Tech website, and found some downloads for software, but none of those are working either? Does anyone have a solution for this? I am beginning to get pretty desperate, as all of my video files are on this drive. HELP!!!!!
