G Drive mini 160 GB problems
by Sjoerd de Vries on May 22, 2009 at 6:57:19 pm

Are there problems with G Drive 160 GB?
This drive you can write to it but reading gives errors (transfer a .mov. file 2.3 GB form G Drive mini, FW 800 connection to Desktop of MBP 2.5 GHz) OS 10.5.6.

Did not get the error code but customer will send these.
She complained about it almost a year but she did never send it back to us.
But now she was almost angry about it. So I will asked before we get the drive back.
We only have a 250 GB to test and there are no problems with this drive.
We asked to transfer the data to another drive, but she can't get the date from the drive.
'She' is a professional video editor and need a perfect drive for field work, that's why we sold here this G Drive mini 160 GB for here MBP.
The drive has a 3 year warranty, but if this is perhaps the HD can we swap it for a 200 GB? Or do we have to send it in for repair
