Formatting a G-SATA drive
by

I just received my 1 TB G Sata drive from G-Tech (another story for a another day). I formatted it but I only see one Icon on my desktop and it's only showing 465 GB capacity when I seek information. In my disk utility I see both 465.8 GB Hitachi drives..
Can you explain how I should be setting this drive up on my Mac G5 Quad Core, so I can see it and use the full capacity of both drives in the G-SATA?
How should this drive be formatted? All I've done is erase it, format it as OS Extended and Name it. I use it to edit on Final Cut 6.0.3. Thanks much.
