What's Better

I am looking for a drive, and I've been using LaCie for awhile have had 2 breakdowns with them, but what i want to do is really store video on it. Alot of video, use it as a source for going back and getting file footage. Log it and digitize it once. I'm running FCP 5.0 if that matters, and I'm looking at least to start 1TB, so is the GRaid the way to go or is the LaCie just as good(i'm a bit gun shy due to past faliures of those). Thanks for your input.
