G-Raid 500 failure
by Johan Edstrom on Nov 10, 2005 at 1:11:02 pm

My G-Raid 500 died last night. It won't mount or show up anymore. Cables, computer etc. are all fine. The drive is under warranty but there are no spare parts in my area so I was forced to purchase a new one and wait more than a week for warranty service. My supplier only had 320's in stock and I would have preffered an identical size so I could keep cloned BU's on one drive. Hard drive failure comes with the territory but it would be great if the local agents had parts and spares so they could fix the drives fast when need be.
