Hi Barrie,
Is your DVD media single layer or double? If your project is saying it totals 5.27 Gigs, then you need dual layer DVD media. (but didnt think this specific error message would be caused by that.)
Do check what drive DVDits Temp directory is pointing to. Even if you 'exported your project to the E drive', DVDits Temp directory prob still points to C. Check your preferences, and maybe check to see how much space you have avail on C.
