Drive not recognized
by

I exported my Avid sequence as a QuickTime reference file, but when I try to burn it in DVDit, DVDit does not recognie my DVD drive. In fact, it locked it up so it wouldn't open and no light would come on on the front of the drive. I looked around on the internet for a solution. Apparently, quite a few others have had the same problem. I had to uninstall DVDit, delete Upper Filters and Lower filters in the registry, restart my computer and enter setup to get into the BIOS and open the drive from there. Then I had to go to the drive properties in "My Computer" and enable recording on the drive. I used to have regular Sonic myDVD on my computer and that worked fine, but now even that will not recognize the drive either. I am afraid to reinstall DVDit because I don't want the same thing to happen again, so I would like to know if there are any other programs that are able to burn QT reference files without causing problems or if anyone knows a way to make DVDit recognize the drive.
Thanks,
Allen
