Subpicture missing

Subpicture missing

The disc simulates exactly how I want it to.
It plays that way on most players(computers especially)
On a few occasions, the subpicture over the button appears briefly then vanishes.
the buttons still work but it makes it hard to tell where the selector is.

any suggestions?
