Stall in writing volume final stages?? DVDit pro 6

I have been relentlessly trying to write disc image or volume but writing always freezes a about 40% into the last stage of writing.
My project is a dual layer with AVI and 5.1 AC3 files. All T-S files seem to be there and can be played seperatly but not as movie. Anyone??? Help!!!
