Re: Poor quality audio

I have many options, including using the software Cleaner (for Mac) to encode. I initially created elementary stream through Cleaner in MPEG 2, but had the non-compliant error message on import, so I turned to uncompressed. I used MPEG-2 default specs, and also created the specs according to Sonic's suggested format.

Uncompressed cleared up the compliance error, until I ran into the audio issue.

So, best practices.... Should I go back to Cleaner and import "non-compliant" MPEG 2 media? Then DVDit transcodes again? Or, if I export my audio to WAV, I'm not clear on how I can make sure the audio syncs to video on import. Perhaps that won't be tough as is is sinmply background music; nothing critical. Other encoding formats (A/V) I have at my disposal include DV Pro, AVI, MPEG-1.

Too many choices. (Perhaps I am making this more complicated than I need.) I appreciate any light you can shine on this for me. I really want this to work so I can do the authoring across platforms...
