In some cases, DVDit will fail to launch if multiple optical drives are installed on the system. For example, if you have two DVD burners or a DVD burner and a DVD-ROM on the same system, it's possible you may run into a launching issue.

While a fix does not exist at this time, you are encouraged to submit an incident to Sonic Online so that you can be contacted and made aware of any developments in the resolution of this issue.

Fortunately, a work around does exist. Go to Control Panel, System, Hardware tab, Device manager, find the CD/DVD-ROM Drives section and expand it. If you have two drives listed there, right click on one and select to disable one. Now try and launch DVDit. Once DVDit successfully launches you can reenable the drive in Device Manager.

If this does not fix the issue please contact technical support via Sonic Online so I can troubleshoot further, there are other things that can be tried. When writing in, be sure to include any system changes you've made since before this issue started happening. It would also be helpful to include a system info file. This can be exported by going to Start, Programs, Accessories, System Tools, System Info, File, Export.
