Layered Photos Behaving Badly

Hey kids...

I know this has been covered before but I can't find the thread. So...

I have a simple .psd with three layers...The background and two cars that have been lasso'd and increased in size a touch.
I have imported them into Motion as All Layers...no problem. But, the two car layers are squares with the car image but surrounding the car (out to the square edges) is a bunch of weird lines and shapes.

This is difficult to describe but I suspect you Motion mavens know where I have gone astray in Photoshop or in Motion. Appreciate your setting me on the right path to 3d photo bliss.
