Sorry Jeff, I'm not aware of any free tutorials for Motion on this, yet...I'll have one available at the beginning of next year. But that won't help you right now. This is how I like to do it:

Cut photo in layers in PhotoShop.
Bring in layered PSD and important the PSD layered.
Take the different layers and separate their Z distance.
Move the camera and it will create the cool look.
