how to track particle emitters and replicators

Does anyone know how to apply the particle emitter/paint effect or replicator to an already tracked object? I used the "match move" behavior to do it. I'm trying to track a guitar to make it seem like a light blur is coming from it when it moves. Any help is appreciated!
