FREQUENT Kernel panics Motion 3 in 10.4 PPC G5

Hi,
I'm using Motion 3.0.2 on a Dual Core PowerMac G5 with OS X 10.4.11, ATI X1900 256mb & 3GB of RAM. Motion freezes OS X or causes Kernel panics on a FREQUENT (read almost on every use). It happens 90% of the time during an export to Quicktime. Am I the only one?
Always the same report:
panic(cpu 0 caller 0x0093C17C): DART XBE DART Entry Exception: PCI0 write logical page 0x03ABB
Latest stack backtrace for cpu 0:
