I have discovered a new lead on this case. We have 4 nearly identical machines here in the office. Dual 2.3 Ghz G5s with 8 GB RAM. Two of them have the stock Nvidia GeForce 6600 graphics card, while the other two have been upgraded to the ATI Raedon X1900 graphics card. The two Nvidia machine do not have any problems, while the two ATI machines have the exact same problem where Motion does not pass an image off to the MB Looks Builder and/or cause items that have BCC5 filters applied to them turn black.
