A local tv station is hiring for a full time video editor for a one year contract in Toronto, Canada. I also have my own broadcast design and post production company with my own suite at home. The station does half hour segments. I'm not sure what the going rates are. 1) What is the going wage to expect for full time video editors at tv stations on contract? 2) What is the going wage if I work from home with my own suite? Are the wages different? Should I be negotiating more if I use my own suite?
