background noise
by GH1919 on Oct 9, 2007 at 3:03:45 pm

I have an interview with a person shot in a server room with alot of background noise. The person was mic'd with a lav and I need to try and eliminate or lower as much of the background noise I can without affecting the speakers voice. I am editing in FCP and have Soundtrack Pro, but have not worked with the audio filters very much. I am looking for some advice as to the best way to go about this. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
