John,
If you are working on the session or multi track side you won't see a difference until you do a mixdown but as you said you will hear one ... Why are you normalizing at such a low volume? I would suggest reading up on the hard limit function since it will fatten up the tracks and limit the peaks where the normalize only limits the peaks ... Are these tracks going to be mixdown together? Explain more of what you are trying to accomplish with the project .......... WILLIE
