Here's what's happening:

1). When I click on the CD drive name, Real Player cranks up and automatically plays the song in mention at 1411 kbps (slow).

2). Yet, if I "do not" do the above, but start up Real Player first and select the song, it plays it at 1536 Kbps (normal).

I initially captured this song into Premiere Pro 1.5 set at 48000 Hz. I have never done that before. I did this hoping for better quality. I do quite a bit of DVD authoring and have never had anything to play at a reduced speed before.

I will check with the Real Player people. They will probably know the answer.
