Well, I'm not really an MAC guy. As written, we work on Windows 7 64Bit and the thumbnails even show up in the explorer.

Maybe this can help:
http://www.apple.com/quicktime/extending/components.html

Enables quicktime to play MPEG2 files... So there's a valid chance Bridge can show the thumbnails... Not sure though if it really works
