Capture HDV as Single Clip

I have a library of HDV tapes (miniDV) recorded on a Sony HDR-HC7 camcorder. I am trying to capture each tape as a single clip (so I can access and play the clips using Apple TV). Every program I have used (iMovie -- old and new, Final Cut Express, Final Cut Pro X) uses automatic scene detection, breaking up the tapes into hundreds of small clips. I can't find a way to override this. Anyone know of a program that will let me capture these tapes as single, 60-minute clips?
