Hi there to evrybody!

Like my title explain i have purchased a panasonic model HDC - SD1PP
that use tecnology AVCHD.....Its written on the case that is a high quality hd camera, that record the video in 1800x 1200 , now i have tried to connect it to my mac and open IMOVIE for importing the recorded video. I also tried to export my project in the best quality setting that Quictime video provide. H264 best quality.
BUT THE QUALITY OF THE VIDEO really sucks if compare to te video that i see on the lcd of the camera....how can i do for the best exporting of this hd format? i have to use final cut HD?
