(SONY recommends 300x)

You DO NOT need 300x speed cards for 25 Mbps Mpeg-2 bit rate (HDV), DON'T waist your money on those cards.

Convergent Design recommends Kingston 32 gig CF cards that are capable of 140 Mbps bit rate for their Mpeg-2 HD recorders. Under $80
