If you don't want archiving to be a problem, you might also check into the Sony Z7, which will allow you to use a tapeless workflow (CF) and at the same time record HDV to tape (great for archiving or handing over to a client at the end of a day). The Z7 also shoots true 24p and has good low light performance, which is always a plus in documentary-style shooting.
All the cameras in the this relative price range have similar performance with different trade-offs. Look beyond the marketing spin at what you do and what you need your camera to do. The COW is a great place to research the various cameras, each having their own proponents. (Just remember, camera proponents aren't your clients...)
