By going to DVCPro, you lose quite a bit of resolution. Why would you go from a 1440 x 1080 stream to a smaller resolution? You'd do better converting to ProRes, Bitjazz, Cineform, or other lightly compressed 4:2:2 format that either keeps the 1440 and 1.333 PAR, or going to a 1920 that uses a PAR of 1.0
