I did see these "A" decks at NAB and they should be out soon.

Oh, my o my :-) If I could only count the number of times I've seen products and features at NAB that didn't end up in the final product. EX1 is a great example of that.
I saw em' too (FWIW, I was doing sessions for Sony camcorders in SU233 during the show), but that doesn't mean I trust they'll be everything they're announced to be when they ship.
Strange how firmware sometimes goes one way or another between the announcement and shipping phases of a product.
But...it's entirely likely they'll be as advertised in the multiple format area. We'll know in a few months.
