To confirm:

- the M35U (not the new AU) will read all flavors of HDV and export them all via HD-SDI
- the M15U and M25U (not the new AU) will only read Sony flavors and Canon 60i via firewire (and not component???)

I've got a Kona HD-SDI card and want to go HDV into the computer that way and avoid firewire. Will need to get a deck in the next few weeks, so it sounds like the new models (AU) are out of date range for me. But now I'm thinking I should get the M35U to allow for other formats coming in in the future....
