If you get an answer from Convergent Design as to when their Flash XDR is actually shipping, please let us know...
That thing has been teasing me to death for months and months, I'm really anxious for its release.
Recording with a device like the XDR via HD-SDI (or even HDMI) is going to be a
great deal better than HDV to tape (or FireStore). I have been really looking forward to it, even started budgeting to buy one starting probably six months ago...but they keep teasing me.
