I don't mind shooting all HD, but I'd want the camcorder to downconvert to DVCAM via firewire on the fly for capture in FCP 4.5. There are still plenty of event clients who want SD DVD's, and HDV conforming to SD on a Mac is horrendous.

By the way, forget handing a tape to a client at the end of the shoot with this camcorder!
