And that is precisely where sony stumbled with the 5th element blu-ray title.

It averages 16mbps, looks very soft and has artifacts present.
Best buy and circuit city are demoing it as we speak.

Someone that recorded the HD HBO version said that looked twice as sharp
as the BD release.

I could care less who wins, I just want something that works that everyone is using.
Like the rest of you I'm not going to buy until the dust is settled.
