The Xpander will help with Resolve for sure. I haven't seen anything yet stating how much Smoke 2013 will rely on the GPU. Once the beta comes out in June, I'm sure there will be more info.

But, how do you intend to run a Cubix Xpander on a Mac Mini or iMac? You need a PCI Express slot or an ExpressCard 34 slot to hook one up.
