General Smoke Questions

Hi,
I'm new to Autodesk Smoke,coming from AE & Nuke background.and I'm using smoke from Flame Premium 2012ext1.Following are my first set questions after a brief exposure inside Smoke.

01.How to control the duration of a paint stroke? for eg, I need a paint stroke active from frame 5 to 10.

02.How to select multiple gmasks? Is there any hotkeys to nudge the vertices of gmask? (in AE its arrow keys and in Nuke its Numpad arrowkeys).

03.Is it possible to do CC & CW together.I've done some CC to a clip by softfx.but lost the CC information when I switched to CW in the same window.

04.What is the step by step procedure of consolidate & unrender before archive?

05.please suggest a easiest method to do a simple composite in Timeline.I've a BG clip. I want to put a title over it with a rays effect.I felt that its not that easy as AE.
06.Any idea about websites I can find 'Batch' Tutorials?
