VelocityHD interpret pixel aspect ratio on import
by Tom Cantonwine on Jul 2, 2008 at 5:31:56 am

Does anyone know a method for interpreting pixel aspect ratio when importing media files into VelocityHD? I cannot find a control for that anywhere. I have hi-res (1500x1500) 1.0 pixel content that needs to be imported into a SD 720x486 .9 pixel project. I understand the obvious import settings, fit height, fit width, etc. and that works as expected, but none of the settings seem to convert the pixel aspect correctly. For some reason my client wants his perfect-circles back... Go figure. I was also trying to avoid passing all the content through the dve for correction if at all Possible, but for know that is my solution. Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated.
