VelocityHD & HDV HELP!!!!!

I'm considering buying the VelocityHD and Altitude card at the NAB show this coming week.
Any of you working on HDV? I mean, I'm owning the Canon LX H1 right now and I want to know if
dpsVelocityHD had any problem with my H1. My main concern is 16x9 capture and output to mpeg2 of realtime.
I'm considerting 1920x1080i capture. Okay, how beautiful is it? What are the Pros and Cons.
