Problems with importing dps in AE 7
by

Im using the aging reality SD Hardware and when we went form AE 5.5 to 6.5 I did have troubles with the new plugins I forget the exact issues now but from what I remember it was well spoke off on the forums and the fix was simply to use the old 5.5 plugin.
Im using AE 7 and when importing DPS files The video is skewed as in the first line of video seems okay then the next is say offset by one pixel dropping onto the next line. This sort of leaves a seam down the middle going at an angle hence kind of skewing.
Im not using a machine with DPS hardware though and this is the problem I have. I have the dps codec installed and can play movies without any problems in media player I have also tried the 2 different versions of the plugin (software version) V5 and V6 but to no avail.
Anyone have any thoughts on this?
Im on an XP machine by the way.
Happy new year to fellow Cow readers and forum Leaders
Regards
Chris
