Hey Kevin, I had this same issue with a dual DVD a few months back. Since your movies are large and the disc is nearly full, you have a very small window for the break point. I think I remember just adding a ton of chapter markers around where you think the break point should be and letting DVD SP automatically pick it. It took me several tries.
