Jim, you need to read Alex's post again. He is asking you to be specific about what you are doing. Everything you list is general at best. Dvdsp is not failing, it is not perfect by any means but it is a rock solid app. You are failing to do it correctly. We understand that you are not "getting it" but you need to help us help you.

That being said 99.9% of the time that a DVD works in a Mac but not in a set top player or a PC it is because the person made an HD DVD, as pointed out by Kylee.
