Dark Footage

My MPEG-2 footage in DVDSP is darker and slightly greener than the source file. I've been looking for a solution to this issue but can only find posts where people say that their footage is lighter. I downloaded a trial of Adobe Encore and imported the same MPEG-2 file and it looked perfect.
Is this a Quicktime X issue? Is there a way to correct this? I have the button checked in QT7 for FCS colour but it doesn't seem to make a difference.
