Hey!

I did that more than once and always worked for me :-) But today I would add "black bars" to the 4:3 video :-) It will not deform the video anyhow nothing will be lost or cropped or anything. It will just look better and you might avoid problems that some TVs or, projectors, od DVD players are stupid enought to not notice the aspect ration change and deform your project...

So I would do this...
